Southern Oregon Swingdance Society

Swing dancing classes have been terminated, largely resulting from lack of sufficient turnout.

As you may know I retired from teaching a few years ago, but in response to a brief upwelling of interest following the reunion awhile back Lisa & I decided to revive the program. Now, however, and in spite of the ever-faithful support and presence of a few folks and our own enduring love for teaching, we have decided to call it quits.

I've been dancing the Lindy for 24 years and teaching it since 1990. It has certainly been a rewarding experience for me and Lisa, and I would like to take this opportunity to once again thank each and all of you for participating in my classes. I hope and trust that you enjoyed being there.

I've been asked about the possibility of occasional dances or get-togethers. If there were interest and a committment to attend by a sufficient number of people, an occasional Fri. or Sat. evening dance & pot luck buffet could be held. If you are strongly inclined to attend such an occasion please notify me [craig@craigfaulkner.org] or Barb [barb@websitings.net] and we will keep your interest on record and notify you if a date is set. At this point I would not anticipate anything until next fall at the earliest.

I will continue to engage in the various other creative activities which fill my days, among them being producing and hosting the American Rhythm radio program on JPR.

Best wishes,
Craig
